Welcome to Bridging Kitsap!

This project will be a fairly large undertaking. Even though many pages need to be completed, I wanted to share my journey with you all.

Our Welcome article will tell you a little bit more about this website.

Monopoly RARE Pieces

Tick Tock. Time is running out to claim MONOPOLY prizes. Post RARE pieces soon! Continue reading Monopoly RARE Pieces

I want to take the time to thank you for visiting BridgingKitsap.com. This site was inspired by a desire to unite our communities in Kitsap County. I would love to see the website be used as a resource for everyone amongst daily living.  Continue reading Welcome

Kitsap Memorial

Kitsap Memorial State Park is one of my favorite places to go with the family. Some day we’ll try out the camping goodness. The only amenity this park lacks is a boat launch. However you can find the nearest launch just a few miles away at Salisuby County Park. Kitsap Memorial is accommodating for the whole family, including:

Two playgrounds for the younger and older kids
BBQ Pits
Beach access (time to take your kayaks out!)
Camping (Tent & Cabin)
Fishing, Crabbing, Clamming, etc.
Walking trail
Picnic tables
Covered pavilion

Oh, don’t forget…you can get Married here too!

If you decide to camp out, you will definitely want to reserve your site well in advance!

Visit the Beaches & Parks page to see more parks in your area!

Walking Trails

This trail leads you through waterfront Poulsbo. Along the way you will find a nice picnic area and a playground for the kiddos.

I bet you drive by half a dozen trails every day and don’t even realize it. There is no way I can cover all the trails in Kitsap. Therefore, I will provide you with a few links to help plan your walking excursion.

The website, mapmywalk, is a great tool that will lead you to hundreds of trails in Kitsap.

North Kitsap Trails is another good reference, along with (once again) KitsapGov.
